FPS Optimizer

Turn your specs into dialed-in, real-world FPS.

Drop your CPU, GPU, RAM, and game. PC AI figures out where you're bottlenecked and gives exact setting changes to hit your target FPS—or get as close as your hardware allows.

Made for competitive & sim players

Works for shooters, esports titles, and heavy sims like MSFS or racing games.

Your setup & goals

Step 1 · Describe your rig & target FPS

Don't stress over exact model numbers—do your best, PC AI can still work.

Mention if you play ranked/comp or just casual.

If you're not sure, match your monitor refresh (ex: 144Hz → 144 FPS).

PC AI uses your specs + game to see if you're more CPU-bound or GPU-bound and tunes settings around that.

FPS plan & settings

Step 2 · Apply these changes in-game

After you hit Optimize my FPS, this panel turns into a checklist of setting changes tuned to your rig.

Identifies whether you're CPU-bound or GPU-bound.
Suggests exact graphics sliders to lower or raise.
Tunes upscaling, resolution scale, and V-Sync based on your monitor.
Gives OS-level tips (drivers, background apps, overlays, etc.).

Great for "why am I only getting 90 FPS with this hardware?" moments.

Good inputs = better FPS plans

  • • Mention if the game is CPU-heavy (like big sims).
  • • Say if you play on performance mode, DX11/DX12, etc.
  • • Call out weird things like streaming, overlays, or mods.

How this ties into the rest of PC AI

  • • Part Picker: get a balanced build from scratch.
  • • Optimizer: decide what to buy next.
  • • FPS Optimizer: squeeze more from the rig you have.
